I BET YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYONE COSPLAY THIS BEFORE!!! IT IS TOTALLY UNDERCOSPLAYED AND BRAND NEW TO YOUR EYES I AM SURE OF IT!!! EXCLAMATION POINTS!!!!!!

Inspiration
My pal Ginny asked me to be the Asuka to her Rei. She sent me the blue material so we could match perfectly at Anime Expo. I know the school outfits have been cosplayed to death, and I tried to say no to Ginny, but then she punched me in the face all the way from Las Vegas. She is short but she has very long arms, obviously. Her fist reached me all the way in Illinois. Her next cosplay is Stretch Armstrong. Watch for it!

Construction
I did this without a pattern, except for the sleeves which I altered from some generic sleeve pattern. It is so simple that every small mistake is easily noticeable so I made sure to sew very straight lines! I found a watch at the dollar store that I sewed a red cuff for. The wig and head nodes I had from previous Asuka costumes. It felt weird to get a costume done in one afternoon. I’m used to spending at least a few days on a project, so it was like instant cosplay gratification.
